Biography
Lia Hietala, born 1993 in Stockholm, Sweden, started off as assistant director for Ninja Thyberg during her exam project at Stockholm Academy of Dramatic Arts in 2014. Is now doing her debut as a director with support from Tvibit Filmveksthus in Northern Norway. In the end of 2015 she received the Springbrett-scholarship from Nordnorsk Filmsenter for her next film idea, starting with pre-production during the spring of 2016.
