Born in Colwyn Bay, Wales, in 1942. While studying medieval history at Oxford he met Michael Palin, who would wind up being one of his partners in crime in Monty Python. They would go on to revolutionize the TV scene through the absurd humor of Monty Python’s Flying Circus, considered a media highpoint.
