Biography

Born in Argentina in 1966, he left his country with his family in his early teens so as to flee the military dictatorship and settled in France, where he would live for the next 37 years. In 2000, he wrote, produced and directed his first short film, The Man Without a Head, for which he received the Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival in 2003. In 2004 he wrote, produced and directed his first feature film, Northeast, premiered at Un Certain Regard at the Cannes Film Festival in 2005. His filmography also includes the documentary Jack Waltzer: On The Craft Of Acting and the feature films Upside Down (2012) and Let It Be Law (2019).
