Biography (1)
Yves Robert (1920-2002) was a versatile French actor, screenwriter and director. His first feature was the comedy Men Think Only of That (Les Hommes ne pensent qu a ça, 1954), but gained fame with War of the Buttons (La Guerre des boutons, 1962). Among the many films that won with audiences are the comey The Tall Blond Man with One Black Shoe (Le grand blond avec une chaussure noire, 1972), the biographical dramas My Father's Glory (La Gloire a de mon père, 1990)… (more)
