Biography

Winner of 4 Arieles of the AMACC. Thanks to the co-direction of El octavo día, he achieved various recognitions at festivals inside and outside of Mexico; later he wrote and directed his second short film, Jaulas, which gave him sundry laurels at international festivals. In 2015 he directed Zimbo and later, after the making of Tío, he developed his debut feature, Niño carbón.
