Biography (1)
Ksenia Okhapkina graduated from St. Petersburg State University of Film and TV in 2012. Since 2014, Ksenia is working with Estonian company Vesilind. She has shown her commitment to the composition and the meaningfulness of a single frame and her ability to capture “the poetic in profane”.
Her first documentary produced in Vesilind - Come Back Free - won a jury special prize at IDFA 2016. Immortal, released in 2019 won the best documentary prize at Karlovy Vary.
