Biography

Trond Jacobsen studied directing for television at Lillehammer University College, and has extensive experience in information and assignment film production. Since the mid-nineties he has worked as both cinematographer, producer and director on several childrens television-series, as well as on international documentary films. He has been nominated, and won, awards for his work, both in Norway and abroad.

He directed all the 11 episodes of the popular television series Little Grey Ferige, which was nominated twice for the Norwegian Gullruten Television Award, and made his debut as a feature film director with Little Grey Fergie - The Secret on the Farm in 2004. Jacobsen also directed the sequel, Little Grey Fergie and His New Friend Clunky, in 2011.
