Biography
Since 1999, UK artists Ruth JARMAN and Joe GERHARDT, alias Semiconductor, have worked with digital animation. Central to their work is the role of sound and more recently the search for a place where science and art meet. Their unique approach has won them many awards and prestigious fellowships. Where Shapes Come From (2016) is their most recent work.
