Valentina Maurel

French and Costa Rican filmmaker. In 2008 she moves to Belgium where she obtains a degree in production at the Haute Ecole Libre de Bruxelles, and later a master’s degree in directing in the INSAS in Brussels. Paul est là, her master’s degree project won the first prize of the Cinéfondation at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival.
