Biography

Diana Toucedo is a filmmaker and film editor. She studied at ESCAC and UPF. She has edited around twenty feature films, short films and other audiovisual works, including Los desheredados by Laura Ferrés, awarded as best short film at the Goya and Gaudí Awards in 2018. She also worked in the feature films La noche que no acaba by Isaki Lacuesta, Júlia Ist by Elena Martín and the fiction TV series Hierro, directed by Jorge Coira for Movistar and Arte France. After directing several short films, she premiered her awarded first full-length film Trinta Lumes in 2018 at the Berlinale. She combines her profession with teaching at UPF, UAB and ESCAC, where she is the head of the Documentary/ Non-Fiction Department.
