Biography

Graduated from the University of Bucharest in Foreign Languages and Literature, he did a Master’s in British Language and Culture and Spanish Language and Culture in 1999. In 2002 he made his debut as a writer with the novel Chew and you’ll breath easier, awarded by the Bucharest Writers’ Association as best debut book in 2003. Over the years he became interested in cinema and has made three short films and a television film: The Apartment (2004), A Lineman’s Cabin (2005), Water (2008) and Fata Galbena Care Rade (2008).
