Andrew O'Connor

ANDREW O'CONNOR has created, written and produced dozens of television series in the U.K. including "Peep Show," Channel 4's longest-running sitcom of all time. Other notable credits include the "Derren Brown" series and specials "Star Stories," "Balls of Steel" and "Fresh Meat." His TV shows have been nominated for over 50 national and international awards, including five BAFTA Awards.
In 2007 O'Connor sold his U.K. TV production company, Objective Productions. After a three-year handcuff deal, he moved to L.A.
O'Connor directed the feature comedy May the Best Man Win, which is set for a 2014 release. Magicians, O'Connor's feature-film directing debut, was released by Universal Pictures. It won Best Comedy at the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival and was nominated for a U.S. BAFTA in 2008 (Best British Comedy Film).
Theater directing credits include "42nd Street," "The Odd Couple" (female version), "The Nerd" and "Anything Goes." His stage productions have won two Olivier Awards
