Danish director Amalie Naesby Fick studied Animation Film Directing at the National Film School of Denmark. After her debut with the short film Ztriewer (2016), the film adaptation of The Incredible Story of the Giant Pear (2017) received the Danish Film Academy’s Robert Awards for Best Children’s Film and Best Adapted Screenplay. In 2020, Amalie partnered with Clara Mendes to release the TV short film series Sex, which premiered at the Berlinale. In 2022 she released Little Allan - The Human Antenna.
