Juney Smith

A native New Yorker and graduate of Long Island University, Mr. Smith is the former Artistic Director of the Renaissance Drama Company and Mattie Theatre Company (New York) and the Rainbow Connection Theatre and Rebirth Drama Company (Los Angeles) where he directed over 100 plays in a 20-year span (1980-2000). In 2000, Mr. Smith and partners launched a New York based motion picture production company (Drummond & Smith Entertainment, Inc - recently renamed Rainbow Media Group, Inc) where he wrote and directed 20 feature films for the home DVD entertainment market. All 20 films are in a single 20 film Box Set “Juney Smith Black American Film Collection.”
