Ilja Maximov (1970) is a Russian animator and director. He graduated in architecture at St. Petersburg's University and got an education in animation at the American animation studio Animation Magic. He's directed the feature fairy tales Little Longnose (Karlik Nos, 2003) and Dobrynya Nikitich and the Dragon Gorynych (Dobrynja Nikitič i Zmej Gorynyč, 2007) and TV series, including Technology (Těchnolodži, 1998), GoGoRiki (Smešariki, 2005-9) and Flying Animals … (more)
