Biography
Lebanese writer and director. His first feature, 1982, won the NETPAC Award at TIFF, the FIPRESCI International Critics Prize at El-Gouna Film Festival and was Lebanon’s submission for the Oscars 2020. His first short The Rifle, The Jackal, The Wolf, And The Boy, was Oscar shortlisted in 2017. His work includes producing documentaries: Rize, I Am Thalente, and Max Richter’s Sleep, as well as music films and videos for Annie Lennox, David Bowie, Lana Del Rey among many others.
