Biography

He graduated in Audiovisual Media from the University of Seville, completed a Master’s degree in Scriptwriting at the Autonomous University in Barcelona and joined the Screenwriter Program at the New York Film Academy (NYC). He authored the scripts of awarded films Alfred & Anna (Juanma Suárez, 2012) and 30 años de oscuridad (Manuel H. Martín, 2012), which were nominated for the Goya Awards in the respective categories Best Animation Short and Best Documentary. His first documentary feature, 23 disparos (2017), premiered at the Málaga Festival and won four awards including one for Best Documentary at the Seville Film Festival and the prestigious Iris Award presented by Spain’s Television Academy.
