Biography
He studied rhetoric as well as German and French literature in Paris and Hamburg where he graduated with a thesis on Kieszlowski. In 1998 he began studying directing at the Hochschule für Filmund Fernsehen “Konrad Wolf”, which he successfully completed in 2005. After filming two short films in 2001, he directed the documentary Menschen brauchen Hobbies. He has a first Masterclass qualification from the French-German Film Academy (Film Academy Ludwigsburg/ FEMIS Paris) and is a founding member of Risingstar-Filmproduktion.
