Anna R. Costa is a screenwriter, playwright and film director. She has written the feature films Embarazados (2016) and Bajo el mismo techo (2019), both directed by Juana Macías. She is also responsible for the scripts of the short films La vuelta a la tortilla (2013) and Vaca Paloma (2015), by Paco León. For television she has written the screenplays for the series Leonart (TVE), Ácaros (Cuatro) and Ventdelplà (TV3), amongst others. In 2006 she directed the short film Con lengua, recipient of 13 awards. She has also written the script of A Glòries, Sant Jordi Prize from the Generalitat de Catalunya. Her other projects as a creator, co-director, co-screenwriter and producer are the series Arde Madrid (2018), and Fácil, based on the novel Lectura fácil, by Cristina Morales, both for Movistar+.
