Biography (1)
Fred M. Wilcox is an American director (1907-1964). He started as assistant director and directed his first feature film, Lassie come Home, in 1943, adapted from Eric Knight’s novel. He directed ten features between 1943 and 1960, and is famous for Forbidden Planet (1956), a hallmark in science fiction cinema.
