Biography
He is a screenwriter, producer and director. His first feature, Acne (2008), premiered at Cannes Film Festival’s Directors’ Fortnight. His films A Useful Life (2010), The Apostate (2015), Belmonte (2018) and The Moneychanger (2019) have been programmed at numerous festivals around the world. His shorts and films have been part of retrospectives presented at the Vienna Film Festival, the Harvard Film Archive and the Svenska Filminstitutet.
