Biography

GISELLE ITIÉ was born in Mexico and moved to São Paulo, Brazil when she was only four years, after the 1985 earthquake that devastated the city of Mexico. She studied theatre since 1985, and her first television appearance was in 2000 in a TV commercial. That same year, she was invited by the director Luiz Fernando Carvalho to shoot "O Maias" miniseries, her first drama on television.

Later, she worked for channel Globo in the soap operas "Esperança" (2002), "Kubanacan" (2003), "Começar of Novo" (2004), Pé na Jaca (2006), "O prophet" (2007) until the star role in the popular series "Bela, Feio" ("Ugly Betty/Betty la fea") channel record in 2009. Itie also worked on "Case e Acasos" and "Faça a sua História", in 2008 (Globo); "Mandrake" (HBO) and "Avassaladoras" (Fox). She was also the host of "Oi, world Afora" a travel and tourism transmitted by GLOBOSAT. Giselle participated "Baba" (2004), Juca de Oliveira, directed by Bibi Ferreira, works in theatre, and in "A Mulher Pecado sem" (2001), Nelson Rodrigues.

The big screen, gave life to Mila, "Invasive" (2006) film of Edu Felistoque. Also filmed in Portugal "O Club da Estrada Sintra" (2005), directed by Jorge Paixão da Costa; and participated in "Mais uma História no Rio" (2008), under the direction of Raul Guterres.
