Jesús is a philologist, an actor, a playwright and a theatre director. He made his film debut with Javier Fesser’s Champions, a role that won him the Goya Award for Best New Actor. This film was followed by: Estándar by Fernando González Gómez, García y García by Ana Murugarren, Por los Pelos by Nacho G. Velilla and La Familia Perfecta by Arantxa Echevarría. In the theatre, he has participated in Cáscaras Vacías and One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. One of his plays is Calígula Murió, Yo No, directed by Marco Paiva and co-produced by the CDN, the Teatro Nacional Dona Maria II and Terra Amarela.
