Zach Gilford is best known for his starring role as Matt Saracen on the popular NBC series Friday Night Lights. Since the series wrapped its fifth and final season in 2011, Gilford has gone on to star in a wide array of film and television projects. Gilford graduated from Northwestern University, where he starred in theater productions of Equus and The Laramie Project.
