Biography
Veronika Korčáková Sobková (1973) is a Czech dramaturge, screenwriter and director. She studied social work and documentary filmmaking at FAMU. Her filmography includes 20 documentary films of predominantly socio-psychological themes. Among others, she's directed Endless Work (Práce beze dna, 2005), Prison Love (Vězeňská láska, 2010), and Outside (Venku, 2011), which she shot for HBO. She's also collaborated on the making of the TV series The Secret of the Lineage (Tajemství rodu, 2012) and independently made the series Long Journey to Work (Cesta ze dna, 2014).
