CHOI Seung-Hyun, better known as his stage name T.O.P, got his start in the K-pop / rap group / boy band BIGBANG in 2006. In 2009, Seung-Hyun played a hitman in television series "Iris," playing a cold-blooded killer who only lives to eliminate his targets. In 2010, CHOI appeared in war drama 71: INTO THE FIRE, in which he portrayed a student soldier, wrestling with despair on the battlefield. He won multiple Best New Actor Awards that year. Despite his background as a recording artist and pop performer,  he is recognized as a promising young actor in the Korean film industry.
