Biography
Gao Xingjian is a French author, painter, and director of Chinese origin, and a recipient of the Nobel Prize for Literature. His film Silhouette/Shadow (2003) was shown at the Jihlava IDFF in 2012, when he attended the festival's Inspiration Forum.
