After a PhD in political science, Antonello Belluco launched his professional career in radio and television, first working for private stations, then joining RAI, the Italian national network. He directed a variety of programs, then began making documentaries. He wrote and directed 3 musicals. He made his first theatrical feature, ANTHONY, WARRIOR OF GOD, in 2006, followed by Giorgione da Castelfranco, sulle tracce del genio in 2010. He is currently in pre-production for a new film, ROSSO ISTRIA, also dealing with a controversial chapter in Italian history.
