Biography

Lotte Svendsen (1968) is a Swedish screenwriter, director and actress. She graduated in directing from the National Film School of Denmark, has worked in TV and has made a number of satirical programs (among others). She has made several short films, e.g., Royal Blues (1997). She made her debut with the feature-length comedy Gone with the Fish (Bornholms stemme, 1999). She found success with the drama Time for a Change (Tid til forandring, 2004) and later with the family trilogy Max Embarrassing 1-3 (Max Pinlig, 2008, 2011, 2012).
