Biography

Alexandra Chando, a native of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, began her acting career in her early teens. After being involved in community theatre, Alexandra decided to pursue a career of becoming a professional actress. Alexandra began commuting from Pennsylvania to New York City for auditions.

In 2005 she became a contract player on As The World Turns, playing the role of Maddie Coleman, which lead to a Daytime Emmy nomination in the Best Younger Actress Category. In 2008 Chando was cast in the WB web-series created by Josh Schwartz, entitled Rockville, CA, where she played the lead role of Deb. She soon went on to land the starring role in her first feature film, The Bleeding House.

In addition, Alexandra has appeared in various guest appearances on Medium, Sherry, and Glory Daze. Alexandra was cast in The Lying Game, the Alloy Entertainment produced pilot for ABC Family where she played the roles of Emma and Sutton, two identical twins separated at birth. Alexandra is now a bi-costal resident, traveling back and forth from LA to NYC.
