Biography
Amanda Kernell was trained as a director at the Danish National Film School and completed the 4-year directing program. Since 2006 she has made several award-winning short films as a screenwriter and director, including Northern Great Mountain, which had its world premiere at Sundance 2015 and has won awards for Best Swedish Short Film at both the Uppsala Short Film Festival and the Göteborg Film Festival. She was nominated for the Swedish Academy Award "Guldbaggen".
