Biography
He studied film direction at the CCC of Mexico and Screenplay at the ESCAC of Barcelona. He directed the short Two Days (2005), The Union (2007), Zoogocho (2008) and An Unexpected Twist (2009) before his debut feature, Between Night and Day, which won the Industry Award of the Films in Progress section at San Sebastian in 2010. He obtained awards for Best Mexican Film Debut in Guanajuato and Guadalajara.
