Biography
He gave up his vocation as a mangaka to start off professionally in the world of anime. He worked for years on Satoshi Kon's team, and directed episodes of series like Paranoia Agent and Futakoi Alternative. In 2008 he directed his first feature length film, The Garden of Sinners - The Hollow Shrine.
