Mikele Landa Eiguren completed a Degree in Audiovisual Communication at the University of the Basque Country and at the Karlstad University Faculty of Cinema in Sweden. She went on to specialise in creative documentary, experimental cinema and video art production at the TAI University in Madrid. Her master graduation film, Heldu, showed at the Zinebi in Bilbao (2018) and received the Best Director Award at the Euskal Zine Bilera (2019). Since then, she has developed audiovisual projects in collaboration with several associations, including the film Mali, 10 urtetan, which she filmed, produced and directed with OSALDE in Mali. She combines her creative activity with her work as a journalist for the EITB news programmes and her studies at the Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola.
