Angelina Nikonova is Russian filmmaker, scriptwriter and film producer. In 2001 she graduated from the New York School of Visual Arts majoring in Film and Video. In 2011 Angelina Nikonova directed a feature film "Twilight Portrait" (Portret v symerkah) using a simple reflective camera with a "close to nothing" budget. The film had a great success and won number of awards, including the Best Debut Award at the Warsaw International Film Festival. Angelina had to wear many hats during the shooting of TP and worked as Director, Scriptwriter, Producer, Location Manager, Casting Director, Art Director and Make-up Artist.
