Biography

Dan Mirvish is an American filmmaker and author, best known as the co-founder of the Slamdance Film Festival. Dan was mentored by Robert Altman on his first film, „Omaha (The Movie),“ which led him to co-founding the upstart Slamdance Film Festival that runs concurrent with Sundance. Mirvish has also wrote the critically-acclaimed book „The Cheerful Subversive’s Guide to Independent Filmmaking“ and co-wrote the best-selling novel „I Am Martin Eisenstadt“. „Bernard and Huey“ is his fifth full-length feature film.
