Matt Russell

MATTHEW DEAN RUSSELL is one of the hottest young directors in Hollywood. Since his arrival in LA, Russell has worked with Fox, Paramount Pictures, Sony Pictures and New Line Cinema on a wide variety of feature projects. His reputation as a strong leader and creative visionary has gained him well-deserved recognition in the entertainment industry.

Russell cut his teeth in the visual effects world on films such as LIVE FREE OR DIE HARD, EPIC MOVIE, NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM, CHARLOTTE'S WEB, ZATHURA, FINAL DESTINATION 3 and BLADE TRINITY. Russell also garnered an Emmy nomination for his early television directing experience in the documentary realm.

In 2009, Russell was invited to speak at the Dunance Film Festival along with several other “generation next” writers, producers and directors.
