Biography

Kieran Turner began his career in entertainmaent at the age of 6 as a child actor appearing in dozens of televisiĆ³n commercials, episodic televisiĆ³n and feature films. Retiring from acting at age 17, he then atended New York University recieving both a BFA and MFA in filmmaking from the Tisch School of the Arts. He wrote and directed a short film in 1996 called Momentary Lapses. His first feature film, 24 nights (2001) wich he wrote, produced and directed, was made as his graduate thesis, but took on a life of its own on the film festival circuit, playing in over sixty festivals worldwide and winning seven audience awards. The film was picked up for distribution by TLA Releasing and, due increasing Word of mouth popularity, has been a perennial seller for the company since its release. Jobriath A.D. (2012) is his another docummentary film.
