Robert Fraisse was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Cinematography for director Jean-Jacques Annaud's "The Lover" and reunited with Annaud on "Enemy at the Gates," (which received a nomination from the British Society of Cinematographers for Best Cinematography), and "Seven Years in Tibet."
