Biography
After serving in the U.S. Army, Andrew Harrison Brown spent the last decade as an aid worker and filmmaker in sub-Saharan Africa. He served as producer, cinematographer and editor on the documentary Kifaru, which won several awards in 2019. He recently directed the short film Inseparable: Myia. Brown teaches directing at the UNC School of Arts and joined the Slamdance Film Festival as a programmer for documentaries in 2021.
