Miguel Ángel Lamata

Born in Zaragoza, this movie director decided he wanted to make films after watching Steven Spielberg’s Jaws. During the nineties he made some short films and he directed several theatre plays. In 1993 he met Santiago Segura at Sitges Film Festival, with whom he is still collaborating. At the end of the nineties he started working on television – first for Antena Aragón (nowadays Aragón TV), and later for Antena 3 and Tele 5. His first feature-length film, Una de zombis (2003), achieved a great success among the audience.
