He started his studies of Audiovisual Communication at the Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca and was given an Erasmus Grant to study in Munich (Germany) at the University Ludwig-Maximiliam. Back in Spain he finished his bachelor at the University Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, a city that opened his eyes to the art of cinema. In 2006 he won a grant of “La Caixa” Foundation to study a Film Directing Master at the University of California in Los Angeles. His first short film in English, The breakfast, included the actress Cherry Jones, the winner of two Tony awards. His film Portrait of a Couple was selected at the International Short Film Festival of Palm Springs. In 2008 he finished Ida y vuelta, starring María Conchita Alonso and Eloy Azorín.
