Maria Bahrawi makes her debut in Norah, in the titular role. The film’s director, Tawfik Alzaidi, cast the then 16-year old Maria two weeks before shooting starting. Born in Jeddah, Maria is an inspiration for the new generation of women in Saudi Arabia.
