Marcela Said

Marcela Said, director and screenwriter, studied aesthetics in Chile and film and media at the Sorbonne in Paris. In 1999 she shot Valparaíso, and two years later she made the documentary I Love Pinochet. Her next two documentaries, Opus Dei, una cruzada silenciosa (2006) and The Young Butler (El mocito, 2011), were co-directed with Jean de Certeau, and the latter film premiered in Berlin's Forum section.
