A distinctive figure in Balkans cinema, Serbian actor Lazar Ristovski is not just known for his numerous screen roles but also as a successful screenwriter, director and producer. In 1995, he played the lead role in Emir Kusturica's Palme d'Or-winning comedy drama Underground. Ristovski put a lot of energy into his directorial debut The White Suit, writing the screenplay, playing the lead and producing the film, which was selected for the Critics' Week at Cannes.… (more)
