Graduate from the National School of Drama, New Delhi, he has acted on the stage nationally & internationally for 13 years. He played Pi's father in Ang Lee's The Life of Pi and in an Italian production of Mahasweta Devi's Gangor by Italo Spinelli, which premiered at the Rome International Film Festival.
