Biography (1)
Faysal Ahmed is of Somali ancestry and was born and raised in Yemen as one of nine children. In 1999, at age 14, he moved to the United States with his mother and some of his siblings; he has a sister in Somalia. Ahmed is interested in poetry and theatre; he worked with the Bedlam Theater in Minneapolis as a Youth Program Coordinator.
