Bořivoj Hořínek

Bořivoj Hořínek (1976) is a director, screenwriter and photographer. He graduated in directing from FAMU, where he shot several short films during his studies, e.g. Family (Rodinka, 2000), Confession of a Knife (Zpověď nože, 2001) and To Be a Wolf for the Last Time (Naposledy vlkem, 2003). His work is connected primarily with TV, including advertising and music clips. The director later began collaborating on the making of a number of series, e.g. the retro Wonderful Times (Vyprávěj, 2011) and the fairytale film The Mazals (Mazalové, 2011), which he shot as an independent director.
