Impoverished Albert Stuyvesant Spottiswood arrives in Old Haven, Connecticut, expecting to settle down at the family estate, Spottiswood Manor. He soon discovers, however, that the manor has been deserted and that the Spottiswood fortune has been lost. After his disappointed valet leaves him in town, Albert is rescued by Andy, a lunch wagon cook. (official distributor synopsis)
