Elina is 9 years old and lives with her mother and two smaller siblings in a village in northern Sweden. She misses her dead father. Exactly the type of Scandinavian drama where you know from the start that it’s exactly your cup of tea and then you just keep enjoying the ride. The young Elina would sometimes benefit from some discipline, but the actress playing her has done a good job with all the Finish-Swedish squabbling. A beautiful story with beautiful shots, and if you like family movies, then it’s a must-see for you.
